This auction features late model clean and well maintained farm equipment from the Riverside Stock Farms in Swoope VA. After more than 80 years in business, Riverside Stock Farms is discontinuing operations. All of this equipment has been shed kept and is in good working condition. Preview and Pickup Information:
Preview for this auction will be Friday April 25 from 2-6 PM and Saturday April 26 prior to the auction @ 821 Hewitt Rd, Swoope VA 24479. Pickup is after the auction on April 26 or the week following by appointment. Equipment will be onsite to load your items. All items must be paid for before removing from the premises.
Terms of the Sale:
Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer's Premium of 10% will be added to each successful bid. Virginia Sales Tax of 5.3% will be charged on all items unless the buyer provides a valid sales tax exemption form. Sales tax exemption must be claimed and form presented before payment is made.
Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. We will not be accepting returns or providing refunds.
Payment: Cash, Credit and Debit Card (3% Fee Applies), Wire Transfer, and Good Check are approved methods of payment. This auction will require online bidders to enter a valid credit card in order to register to bid. When registering to bid, the credit card will be checked for available credit of $100 but the card will not be charged. At the end of the auction all successful bidders will receive an invoice via email and payment can be made online. If payment arrangements are not made by the end of the pickup period then the credit card used for authorization purposes at the time of registration will be charged. All payments whether cash, check, or card must be made before any items are removed from the property.

This is a simulcast live and online auction. The online only bidding will convert to live and online simulcast bidding at the start of the live auction at 10 AM on Saturday April 26, 2025.
Shipping: We are not offering shipping on items in this auction, but contact us if you would like contact information for local transportation and towing companies.
Preview And Pickup: All of the items will be available to preview on Friday April 25 from 2-6 PM and on Saturday April 26 prior to the auction. Please satisfy yourself as to the condition of each item before placing your bids. Pickup time is Saturday April 26 after the auction till 6 PM unless other arrangements are made with the auctioneer and Revercomb Farms. All items must be paid for before they leave the property. Equipment will be available to assist with loading. Pickups can be arranged by appointment for the week following the auction.
