Tom Walker Collection Auction

This online only auction features part of the lifetime collection of Mr. and Mrs.Tom Walker.  The Walkers were longtime residents of the Calverton VA community and have recently moved. We are selling this collection of antiques, farm equipment, vehicles, lawn and garden items and more.

In this auction you will find a number of vehicles, tractors, and lawn and garden items. All of these have been sitting for a number of years. We have not attempted to start any of these engines. We urge you to come to preview and satisfy yourself as to the condition of these items. Also pay close attention to item descriptions and photos. We have noted which vehicles have titles and keys and which do not. On small engines we have noted whether the engines turn over freely or not. All of these items are being sold in as is where is condition.  Please bid accordingly.

Preview and Pickup Information:

Preview for this auction will be Thursday December 17 from 1 PM to 5 PM at 4007 Old Calverton Road, Calverton VA 20138. Pickup is at the same location on Friday December 18 and Saturday December 18 from 9 AM to 5 PM. Pickups will be scheduled through signup genius. If you are a winning bidder you will get an email immediately after the auction to sign up for your pickup time.

Shipping is not available for any items in this auction. Please do not bid if you cannot pick up your items during the specified pickup times. If you do not pick up your items by the end of the day on December 19 your items will be considered abandoned and you will forfeit those items.  We will not have access to the property for pickups after Dec 19.  No exceptions!

Terms of the Sale:

Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer's Premium of 13% (3% discount for cash or check) will be added to each successful bid. Virginia Sales Tax of 5.3% will be charged on all items unless the buyer provides a valid sales tax exemption form. Sales tax exemption must be claimed and form presented before payment is made.

Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. We will not be accepting returns or providing refunds.

Payment: Cash, Credit Card, or Good Check are approved methods of payment. This online only auction will require bidders to enter a valid credit card in order to register to bid. When registering to bid, the credit card will be checked for available credit of $100 but the card will not be charged. At the end of the auction all successful bidders will receive an invoice via email and payment can be made online or you may bring payment with you to pick up. If payment arrangements are not made by the end of the pickup period then the credit card used for authorization purposes at the time of registration will be charged. All payments whether cash, check, or card must be made before any items are removed from the property.

Bidding: You must be registered to place a bid on an item. By placing a bid, you agree to all the terms and conditions that apply to this auction. All bids are final. We cannot retract or remove a bid. We respect your privacy and that of the other bidders. We will not release your information to anyone without your permission. This is an online only auction. The bidding will begin to close on December 17 at 7:00 PM and close at the rate of three lots per minute with a one minute auto extend. This means that if a bid is placed within one minute of the end of the auction the auction for that item will auto extend for an additional minute until no more bids are placed within the last minute.

Preview And Pickup: All of the items will be available to preview at the auction location on Thursday December 17 from 1-5 PM.  Please satisfy yourself as to the condition of each item before placing your bids. Pickup time is Friday December 18 and Saturday December 19 from 9 AM to 5 PM. Preview and pickup location is 4007 Old Calverton Road, Calverton VA 20138.
