To settle the estate of the late George and Louise Hartman, we will be selling at public auction the contents of their home and farm buildings at 2099 North Mountain Road, Mt. Jackson VA. This auction will include antique farm machinery, vehicles, many pieces of furniture, pie safes, antiques, cookware, butchering kettles and equipment, glassware, canning jars, wringer washing machines, fencing, and much more.
Also included in this auction is a very nice one owner 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 with only 52,600 miles. This is a 4x4 extended cab truck with the Cummins diesel and 5 speed manual transmission.

This is an onsite live auction with online bidding for select items. Online bidding will begin at approx 11 AM. Preview for this auction will be Friday Sept 17 from1-5 PM and Saturday morning Sept. 18 prior to the auction. Pickup is auction day till 6 PM and Monday Sept 20 from 9 AM 5 PM. Shipping is not available for this auction. No Sunday Pickups!
Terms of the Sale:
NO Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: There is no buyers premium for this auction. Virginia Sales Tax of 5.3% will be charged on all items unless the buyer provides a valid sales tax exemption form. Sales tax exemption must be claimed and form presented before payment is made.
Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. We will not be accepting returns or providing refunds.
Payment: Cash, Credit Card (3% Fee Applies), Wire Transfer, and Good Check are approved methods of payment. The online bidding component of this auction will require bidders to enter a valid credit card in order to register to bid. When registering to bid, the credit card will be checked for available credit of $100 but the card will not be charged. At the end of the auction all successful bidders will receive an invoice via email and payment can be made online or payment made in cash or check when picking up items. If payment arrangements are not made by the end of the pickup period then the credit card used for authorization purposes at the time of registration will be charged. All payments whether cash, check, or card must be made before any items are removed from the property.
