To settle the estate of the late Gerald W. Critcher we will be selling at auction the real estate, classic cars, tractors, farm equipment, tools, old car parts, vehicles, and other personal property located at 12316 Beach Rd. Chesterfield VA on May 9, 2020.
Mr. Critcher was a well known resident of Chesterfield County and the Beach Community. He worked for many years as the maintenance supervisor for Chesterfield County. Before that he worked as a mechanic for a Ford dealership and an International Harvester tractor dealership. He owned many classic and antique cars over the years and loved working on and showing them.
This will be an onsite auction with online bidding only. The personal property auction will begin to close at 12:10 PM May 9, 2020 and will close at the rate of 3 items per minute with a one minute auto extend.
The personal property and vehicles are being sold to the highest bidder regardless of price. The real estate will be sold subject to seller confirmation at 12:00 Noon on May 9, 2020.

Item Pickup: Items may be picked up after the auction on Saturday May 9 from 2:30 PM until 7:00 PM. And on Sunday May 10 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Immediately after the auction all winning bidders will be sent a link to sign up for pickup times. We will have a loader available to help load heavy items. If you will need to arrange alternate pickup times please clear that with the auctioneer prior to bidding.

Payment Terms: Cash, Good Check, or Credit Card (3% Convenience Fee Applies). Items must be paid for before removal from premises. Credit Card used for registration will be charged if items are not paid for by the end of pickup period. Any items not claimed will be returned to the seller and disposed of at sellers discretion.
Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: 10% Buyers Premium and 5.3% VA Sales Tax charged on all sales except that sales tax will not be charged for titled vehicles. Tax exempt buyers must submit appropriate sales tax exemption form prior to checkout.
All Items Sold AS-IS WHERE-IS with no guarantee or warranty expressed or implied. Clear title guaranteed for all vehicles. If paying by check vehicle titles will not be released until check clears.
Shipping arrangements can be made at the buyers expense. Check with us for a shipping quote prior to bidding.
Term and Conditions:
Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer's Premium of 10% will be added to each successful bid. Virginia Sales Tax of 5.3% will be charged on all items except titled vehicles unless the buyer provides a valid sales tax exemption form. Sales tax exemption must be claimed and form presented before payment is made.
Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. We will not be accepting returns or providing refunds.
Payment: Cash, Credit Card (3% Convenience Fee Applies), or Good Check are approved methods of payment. This online auction will require bidders to enter a valid credit card in order to register to bid. The credit card will be checked for available credit of at least $100 but the card will not be charged. At the end of the auction all successful online bidders will receive an invoice via email and payment can be made online or in person at pickup. If payment arrangements are not made within 24 hours then the credit card used for authorization purposes at the time of registration will be charged. All payment arrangements whether cash, check, or card must be made the day of sale and before any items are picked up or removed from the premises.
Bidding: You must be registered to place a bid on an item. By placing a bid, you agree to all the terms and conditions that apply to this auction. All bids are final. We cannot retract or remove a bid. We respect your privacy and that of the other bidders. We will not release your information to anyone without your permission.
